Low Emissions Rotapower® Engine to be used in Recreational Vehicles

Freedom Motors (FM) of Davis, California and Madami International, of Russellville, Arkansas have entered into an agreement whereby FM will provide initial design and consultation services to assist Madami with the production of the 650cc-rotor Rotapower® engine.  Madami intends to produce the single-rotor, 75 horsepower Rotapower® engines for application in recreational products that need high horsepower-to-weight engines and can meet clean-air emissions standards.  Early production units will be used to validate the new four-stroke’s ability to meet the demanding emission requirements for internal combustion engines in recreational products used in our nation’s National Parks.  

Freedom Motors has the exclusive license for production of the Rotapower engine for recreational and industrial applications.  Under this agreement from the patent holder, Moller International, Freedom Motors has produced a variety of Rotapower® rotary engines for use in watercraft, snowmobiles, all terrain vehicles and stationary generators.  Moller International (OTC Symbol: MLER) retains the rights for the Rotapower® engine in aviation applications, including the M400 Skycar, a personal vertical takeoff and landing aircraft also under development by Moller International.   Similar in principle to the original rotary developed by Felix Wankel in the 1950’s, the Rotapower® engine has been optimized for high-horsepower, high-reliability, low-weight and low-cost manufacturing.  It is an excellent choice for a wide range of high-performance applications.

Madami International is the parent company of Transnational Outdoor Power, a distributor of outdoor power equipment.  Dave McMahen, CEO of Madami International has a background in the marketing and manufacturing motorcycle industry products and plans to use the 650cc Rotapower® engine in a new adult version off-road vehicle that is currently under development (referred to as the “X-Model”).  Mr. McMahen stated, “Combining high horse power to weight and clean emissions of the Rotapower® engine with the safety features of the X-Model, we will have a vehicle that the ATV industry and consumers have been demanding for many years:  A faster, safer, and environmentally friendlier ATV built for many years of low cost-operation and pure FUN!”
